Out of darkness comes light:
A photo from Zubin’s summer 2011 internship with the social enterprise Husk Power Systems. HPS uses rice husk, a biowaste, and converts it into electricity for consumption in rural areas of India, such as the states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The company is creating an ecosystem around the plants with positive economic, educational, health, social and environmental benefits for the entire community.
